Concealed Carry Classes
Currently, Louisiana law says a person does not need a permit in order to have a gun as long as the gun is visible. But for concealed carriers, this is a different story. In order to carry a concealed firearm in the state of Louisiana, carriers must take a concealed carry class and undergo a background check. Luckily, Jim's Firearms offers a class one Saturday every month.
This class begins at 9:30 in the morning and runs until 5:30 p.m. The cost of this class is $110, and payment can be made in person or over the phone. Upon completion, we issue you an award certificate that you will submit to the Louisiana State Police for permit issuance.
These classes are first-come, first-serve, so make sure you reserve your class with us as soon as possible!
